Join the Council of Canadians and the Canadian Union of Public Employees to celebrate World Water Day with a free concert by local folk/roots favourites Headwaters[size=medium]. The celebration will also feature the first annual Tappie Awards – a humorous tribute to community members and groups who have worked hard to promote and protect BC’s public water system.
The event kicks off with a tap water toast at 2pm and will run, rain or shine until 4pm.
