Food Bank Benefit

On Saturday July 10th, 8pm there will be a benefit in aid of the Vancouver Food Bank Society. Vancouver's Center for Performing Arts, 777 Homer. Admission is free, but a food or cash donation can be made in the lobby beginning at 7pm. Donations are voluntary.

The event will consist of a competition amongst 15-18 stand-up comics, with a prize of $5000 being awarded the judged winner.

A string quartet ('Grace Notes') will play in the lobby as people arrive, and the band 'The Knackers' will do a brief set onstage as the judges deliberate.
