Join Meet Market Adventures and other adventurous singles for a thrilling evening excursion spent wandering through the mystic forests of the North Shore Mountains, exploring all those things that go bump in the night. We will hike a short distance in total darkness through sub-alpine meadows and around the edge of a mountain lake allowing our night vision to kick in. Our other senses will awaken, making us aware of the forest life that surrounds us and the many critters who call this home.

Want to test yourselves? Try following a trail on your own or balancing on a large fallen tree. Our journey will take us through open meadows, rolling hills and old growth forests. As we wander to the top of the hill, look skyward to enjoy the unobstructed view of the stars and Vancouver. We’ll gather here to reflect our journey and listen for the haunting cry of the coyote or elusive great horned owl.

Directions: Take Highway 1 west and exit # 8 to Cypress Bowl; we will meet at the base of the ski lifts at the top of Cypress Mountain Road in the parking lot.
