From Italy, With Love - An In the House showcase of Italian culture

Come celebrate the artistic gifts that Italian culture has to offer and the cultural legacy it has given to the vibrant Commercial Dr. neighborhood in this evening of food, Italian Historical Dance, Commedia Dell'arte and Opera. And if the weather permits it, we may get a game of bocce ball going in the yard - Italian style!

Performers:

Historical Performance Ensemble: The Historical Performance Ensemble is one of a handful of professional companies worldwide dedicated to the realization and dissemination of historically accurate dance, music, song and theatre, using period costumes and instruments. They are renowned for delightful, sumptuous productions.

Two Amuse: Two Amuse is made up of Mehlinda Heartt and Angela Brown. Mehlinda is a professional harpist, opera singer, dancer, costume/set designer and builder. She is artistic director of Pacific Handel Opera Society and is presently recording her CD Queen of Harps. Angela is a professional actor, dancer and singer. She has been studying teaching and performing Baroque and Renaissance Dance and Theatre for the past 8 years.
