Carousel Theatre presents MUNSCHA MIA based on the books by Robert Munsch and adapted by Debbie Patterson. A sensational high-octane play with music based on five Robert Munsch stories including old favourites like Stephanie’s Ponytail, Jonathan Cleaned Up-Then He Heard a Sound and Aaron’s Hair, and new ones like Down the Drain and The Sandcastle Contest. This spectacle will charm audiences, young and old, and have them singing along!

Director CAROLE HIGGINS, Artistic & Managing Director of Carousel Theatre for Young People, is excited to bring the return of Munsch’s hit stories for kids in this production to Vancouver’s families. "Munscha Mia is a fun collection of hit stories from Canada’s best-selling children’s author, Robert Munsch. Audiences were delighted by our previous Munsch production of Munsch Alley and Love You Forever, The success of those productions inspired us to bring more Munsch to Vancouver audiences with Munscha Mia."

Opening Performance: Saturday, March 5 at 2pm
Dress-Up Matinee: Saturday, March 12 at 2pm (Come dressed as your favourite Robert Munsch character)
Benefit Performance: Saturday, March 26 at 4pm (Special benefit performance for the Actors’ Fund of Canada)
