Performers: Crystal Precious: Crystal Precious is Sweet Soul's Queen of Sass, made famous by her razor sharp wit and a powerful stage presence. Mixing up her favourite combo of early 90's satire and true vintage glam, Ms. Precious slips effortlessly from classic golden-age tributes to old-school jams by incorporating smooth vocals or hip-hop stylings to her burlesque numbers. A full-figured model, media personality, producer & promoter, she has performed throughout Canada & the US and has produced shows for underground cabarets, corporate events and television spots.www.crystalprecious.com Little Miss Risk: As Sweet Soul's reigning dark princess, Little Miss Tristan Risk is the ultimate gothic ballerina. The book-worm turned fetish model is constantly throwing the girls for a loop with her strange penchant for taxidermy and her random bondage gear left lying around the rehearsal studio. Unintentionally fulfilling the fantasies for sci-fi geeks & rockabilly enthusiasts alike, the small yet fierce Miss Risk is an internationally re-known performer who is famous for incorporating a little bit of black magic into her impressive repertoire. Miss Risk has traveled extensively, performing for both Sweet Soul and her own troupe, the VooDoo Dollz, with psycho-billy blues/rock band Big John Bates. She has appeared in over 12 countries, has performed in over 500 shows and has been featured by MuchMusic, CITY TV, The Vancouver Province & countless Canadian, American & European magazines. http://www.littlemissrisk.com Rita Star: A class act in every way, Miss Star transports audiences to a by gone era of flamboyant chic sensuality. Take a sophisticated debutant, remove all her inhibitions and you have Rita Star. A fusion of coquettish charm and fiery flirtatiousness, Rita's style is a delicious mixture of whimsy, grace and titillating tease. Burlesque obsessed, Rita devours books on the subject as quickly as they are written, and is passionately drawn to the allure of burlesque queens of the 40's and 50's. Rita strives to bring that elegance and splendor to the contemporary stage. Miss Rita Star has heated up stages all over the North America since 2003 and is looking forward bringing her unique style and glamorous attitude to burlesque lovers everywhere. http://www.ritastar.com DJ Bombus: His beats will keep you dancing on and on. You won't be able to help it. You just won't. Really. DJ Freebound: Freebound's mixing can be described as a stew of musical collections from outer space. Mixing and scratching familiar accapella cuts over elements from electro, fidget, dnb, dubstep, breaks, and world music. Combined with Bombus' one of a kind track selection and seamless mixing, this is one 4 turntable show you won't want to miss. |
