Q: Is this service free? A: Yes. We do not charge anything to register and post your event here. Q: What do you do with the signup information collected? A: We collect NO information to view this Website. However, to avoid spammers and junk postings, we require everyone who wishes to post their event here to first register and confirm their email address. This is a standard procedure, and validates people to minimize spam/junk posts. We hate spam too, so your information is not used to send you junk/spam messages, and will not be sold to anyone else. Q: Why doesn't my new posting appear online immediately? A: We believe in building a relationship with new users. When you have posted a few non-spam, non-junk, events we will upgrade your status so that your posts will appear online here immediately. Again, this is a safety measure to avoid spam/junk mail getting onto this site. Q: What Information Should I Post About My Event? Is There a Template? A: Use the following as a template when posting your event here. This will ensure that all relevant information is available about your event and will lead to a better turnout. If you just want to find a great event for you and your friends, simply use the search feature. You can search the entire site or a particular category. Once you find an event, use the social media link at the bottom of the post to invite a friend or add to over 200 sites such as your Facebook. Q: Why Did I Get Bumped off This Site? A: The only times we will ban a user is when they try to consistently post inappropriate or offensive material, OR post the same event over and over again or in multiple categories (it's also not necessary and, in fact, creates a bad impression of you and less visitors to your event). We log all IP addresses, so please post responsibly and only information about upcoming events. We do have measures in place to ensure that the first few posts are moderated, which we feel will block most spammers from this site. |
